Educational Excellence
I am Pekka Hannula, by education, a biologist/geographer and by profession a
teacher/writer. I live in Finland, but I’m interested in the people and cultures of all countries.
When writing, I strive to try to engage and support as many people as possible, whether they are teachers or dog breeders. I’m especially proud that my books have been ordered by 64 countries in five different languages.
Education is the key
Like so many people, I worry about where we are going as human beings. Great achievements are often shadowed by people whose priority is power and money. Many people have difficulties in seeing the way forward and in envisaging the future for mankind. We often forget our past and the events which have shaped our lives. When families have formed the heart of society, the world of parents and children have been diverged.
Could education be the one thing that combines all factors? We have faith in schools and all who work in them. To support this, we have written an e-book “Teacher – survival stories”. One can hope that this is the way to create a better future for our children but also for the generations that follow.
P.S. ”Me” isn’t me without the family, friends and all those books which have formed my soul. I believe that nature favours connection, togetherness. If we remember this then I believe that as a species, we have a chance as mankind!
